"First of all the staff were excellent from the moment we walked in. There were also some local folks that helped us out immensely. More about that later. The food was prepared perfectly to order and the wait staff was very professional. The salad bar was very very good with a great selection. We had the prime rib with baked potato. Perfectly prepared. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at Turtle Club__Now to the local folks. We arrived about an hour and a half early. I decided to turn around and go for a ride to kill some time before our reservation. Well I got stuck and could not get out no matter what I tried. So we walked down to the restaurant figuring we would have to get a wrecker during or after our meal. Unbeknownst to us someone from the wait staff in the bar saw what happened and was ready to assist us before we even walked in. Then some of the sweetest folks just pulled me out and said that now I could enjoy my evening which we certainly did. It says alot about the local area. I was very appreciative."

"Lots of reviews mentioned the amazing salad bar. Um, it was good, but it was the same type of salad bar at say a Sizzler. Cool, but I've had more extensive salad bars. A bit of a head scratcher on this one. I ordered the Prime Rib/Alaskan King Crab combo. The prime rib was very good. The crab was excellent. It is a very pricey place for what you get. I originally was going to go four stars on this place, but, seriously, it was the best Alaskan King Crab I've ever had. The crab was cooked perfectly to allow the pieces to just come out whole. The water might have been a tad too salted, but the texture and flavor was amazing. Drive out from Fairbanks if you need a crab fix."
